Title:
[address book]There's no nickname or display name fields available

Status in Ubuntu UX:

Status in address-book-app package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
In vCard there's support for all kinds of names: family, given,
middle, nickname, but also a separate formatted name. There should
be a priority list for which of those would be displayed when
available, and a config option to change the preference between at
least given family and nickname (separate pref for family,
  given, bug #1439140).

At the moment in the contacts list, I can see the formatted name (as
synced from a remote address book), but when I open the contact,
family and given names are displayed in the header - and I can't edit
  the formatted name.

When searching, only the display name is used there's no way to search
  by other properties (bug #1474308).

Looking at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard, structured name (N) is
required in all but v4.0, where formatted name (FN) is required in
v3.0+, it seems that the locale/preference-aware formatting would have
to happen when editing, and stored in FN.

We need to remember about what happens when we switch the preference -
we'll need to save all the contacts with a new FN (assuming the
original FN matched the previous formatting).

Organization name should be a fallback, too, if no structured or
nickname is given - for organization contacts with no obvious contact
  person.

  ProblemType: Bug
  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04
  Package: address-book-app 0.2+15.04.20150701-0ubuntu1

  ApportVersion: 2.17.2-0ubuntu1.1

  InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 15.04 - armhf (20150709-225837)
  SourcePackage: address-book-app
