Note, we've added a workaround in qtubuntu-camera (in silo 40) to make this problem better (no hang) but does not fix it completely. The following will occur: 1) try to record a video 2) don't press the trust prompt 3) let your phone go to sleep 4) wake it up and open camera 5) press on trust

The desired behavior should be 1) pulse should not timeout after 30 seconds or 2) if we keep the 30 second timeout, the trust-prompt should be removed after that period with the DENY choice selected Currently, the trust-prompt stays on the screen even though silently access has been denied.

In the case of the microphone trust prompt, it could be explained by the fact that Pulseaudio times out and returns from pa_simple_new() after 30 seconds. Then the video recording starts with no access to the microphone while the prompt is still shown. In the logs of the camera app we can see:
