This happens only when the cursor is hovering over Unity, a Unity program or a GNOME program. When over a KDE program or Firefox it shows the normal cursor, to change again when positioned in another place. The bug does not happen always. In any case, beyond this, the system works correctly. It has been a while I am not experiencing the bug anymore. It still usually takes quite a while for the cursor to switch from the roundel to the normal arrow.
