Public bug reported: I can reproduce this bug both on the development and stable images, on the Nexus 4.
The core file is at https://errors.ubuntu.com/oops/55b25b5c-55f4-11e5-be0c-fa163e4ccdf2 And the unity8.log is here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/12312447/ (I added the blank lines, ignore them) The crash happens after a trusted session is closed, but that might be coincidental. The scenario to reproduce it is a bit complicated: - Build and install the facebook webapp from lp:~mardy/webapps-core/post-error-feedback/ - Run it, and make sure that it logs in (create/authorize account as needed) - From the browser (even from the desktop) navigate to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications and revoke access to the "Ubuntu" application - Open the gallery, tap on a photo and choose the "Share action" - Choose the Facebook app as share destination (focus moves back to the Facebook app, an upload form appears) - Write anything in the test area, and clik the "Post" button (After a few seconds, a trusted session will appear, asking you to grant permissions to the app) - Grant permissions to the app (the trust session closes) At this point, unity8 will restart. ** Affects: unity8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1493278 Title: unity8 crash after trusted session is closed Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I can reproduce this bug both on the development and stable images, on the Nexus 4.
