[Touch-packages] [Bug 1510198] Re: [FFe] Sync (almost) with libreoffice-dictionaries in Debian sid

2016-03-09 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package libreoffice-dictionaries -
1:5.1.0-1ubuntu1

---
libreoffice-dictionaries (1:5.1.0-1ubuntu1) xenial; urgency=medium

  * debian/helper.py:
- Changes already in Debian git (LP: #1510198):
  - Bump version in Breaks/Replaces fields.
  - Blacklist hyphen-et, since hunspell-et is blacklisted.
- Replace Conflicts fields with Breaks/Replaces in hunspell-sv.
  * debian/hyphen-et.install
- Removed.
  * debian/control.in:
- Additional transitional dummy packages (LP: #1510198):
  - myspell-en-us
  - hunspell-sv-se
- Changed "Maintainer" to Ubuntu Developers.

Well, you could nudge a core-dev to take it on soon, so we'll have
sufficient time before final freeze to handle possible issues. Besides
that, I think we have it under control.

  * data/pkg_depends:

  available via libreoffice-dictionaries 1:5.1.0-1ubuntu1

- Stop pulling openoffice.org-hyphenation for languages which are

- Pull hunspell-no/hyphen-no/mythes-no if nb_NO or nn_NO locale.
  * language_support_pkgs.py:
- Hack to prevent that hunspell-sv-se is pulled by

2016-03-03 Thread Gunnar Hjalmarsson
Nah, the important stuff in that new Debian upload is already included
in the lo-dicts source in the PPA, so rebasing wouldn't be worth the
extra work. We'll still be able to truly sync after the Xenial release,
so let's stick with what's there now.

I just uploaded language-selector, and asked for assistance with the
other packages.

Thanks for your kind cooperation in this matter, Mattia!

I think it makes a lot of sense, please try going ahead. As Martin
said, the risks are low, and anything that would come up in the next
weeks should be fairly easy to fix (and then, both me and you are

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1510198] Re: [FFe] Sync (almost) with libreoffice-dictionaries in Debian sid

2016-03-03 Thread Gunnar Hjalmarsson
Mattia,

Well, I got it all wrong about myspell-en-us. Sorry.

The latest (last?) attempt at an uploadable set of packages are
available here:

https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/ubuntu/lo-dicts2

Basically the Ubuntu/Debian delta in lo-dicts consists of two
transitional packages: myspell-en-us and hunspell-sv-se. The myspell-en-
us transitional package made it necessary to adjust debian/control in
hunspell-en-us.

I think that's it. Really.

Would appreciate your comments before I ask for upload sponsoring.

** Changed in: hunspell-en-us (Ubuntu)
   Status: New => Triaged

** Description changed:

  Proposed uploads are available in this PPA:
- https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/ubuntu/lo-dicts4
+ https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/ubuntu/lo-dicts2

  This proposal gives us updated dictionaries in xenial, and quite a few
  new ones. libreoffice-dictionaries in Ubuntu was introduced before the
  release of trusty, but hasn't been maintained since. This proposal
  should make it possible to really sync with Debian after the xenial
  release.

  [Original description]
  libreoffice-dictionaries hasnt been synced from Debian for a while and has
Ubuntu-local change. Rebase/Reimplement those on Debian and upstream those, if
possible.

  (libreoffice-dictionaries was created rather ad-hoc around 4.2 before
  Debian did, replacing the old openoffice-dictionaries, thus the missing
  updates since).
