But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new version it is in and change the bug status to Confirmed. ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539936 Title: Udev problem Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Nautilus crash when trying to transfert photos & files from smartphone to PC. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1539936] Re: Udev problem
Note that your phone appears to be connecting and disconnecting every second for a while; there's probably a hardware issue with your usb port, cable, hub, cable, or phone. Try replacing these one at a time -- I suspect the hub first, but bad cables can be hard to spot. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1539936] Re: Udev problem
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539936 Title: Udev problem Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Nautilus crash when trying to transfert photos & files from smartphone to PC.
