[Touch-packages] [Bug 1576864] Re: Unable to extend to second display
Christopher, My 2017-04-30 report was from standard UbuntuStudio live distro 17.04. Sorry for xdiagnose missing. Since 2017-04-30, I bought a new graphic card Radeon HD 7450 that works fine with UbuntuStudio 17.04 and upgrade to this new version (and got new Kdenlive version that works quite well!). I've just installed xdiagnose and I'll move out this new graphic card to apport new data as soon as possible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576864 Title: Unable to extend to second display Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Upgrading from UbuntuStudio 15.10 to 16.04, my 2nd display is a no more a 1st display extension and only a clone. xrand detects only one display. $ xrandr xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default Screen 0: minimum 1400 x 1050, current 1400 x 1050, maximum 1400 x 1050 default connected 1400x1050+0+0 0mm x 0mm 1400x1050 77.00* $ lspci -nn | grep VGA 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
