Title:
dnsmasq resolves xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy. to unknown IP

Bug description:
  [enzo@Feynman ~/Temp] host xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy.
  xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy has address 54.72.52.58
  Host xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
  Host xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

  58.52.72.54.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1577720] Re: dnsmasq resolves xyzzy.xyzzy.xyzzy. to unknown IP

2016-05-06 Thread Uqbar
You can close this bug as it's my ISP fault.
They are forcing their own DNSes which recolve anything unresolveable as that
IP.
If I change my NM connection and force other DNSes than theirs, then everything
works fine.
