Public bug reported:

Dear all,

I noticed a small inconsistency on my Thinkpad X230 which has a hardware
connection switch to disable my Wi-Fi and my Bluetooth connections.

Once switched, the Bluetooth indicator icon disappears but the Wi-Fi one
remains visible.

This is also demonstrated in this screencast:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNpK3LY0xxY

What is the logic behind this behaviour? Why does the Bluetooth one
disappear but the Wi-Fi one not?

Thankfully,

~Robert
