Currently url-dispatcher only supports handling URLs for which
applications have registered as handlers of, directly in url-dispatcher.
However, when using Unity 8 on a PC with legacy applications which are
registered as handlers of URL schemes via their .desktop files, these
applications are not usable as handlers.
