[Touch-packages] [Bug 1764779] Re: Nautilus crashed open Windows-partition [assertion failed: (location != NULL)]

2018-09-27 Thread Treviño
None of the u.e.c crashes linked on top post have been recorded on
nautilus 3.26.4 (available in cosmic for a while, other than proposed),
so we can safely mark this as verified.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1764779] Re: Nautilus crashed open Windows-partition [assertion failed: (location != NULL)]

2018-09-13 Thread Łukasz Zemczak
Hello Lukas, or anyone else affected,

Accepted nautilus into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/1:3.26.4-0~ubuntu18.04.1
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how
to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this
update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from
verification-needed-bionic to verification-done-bionic. If it does not
fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the
tag to verification-failed-bionic. In either case, without details of
your testing we will not be able to proceed.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!

2018-09-03 Thread Treviño
No need to perform full verification as per GNOME exception
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates/GNOME)

And this bug is fixed in an upstream commit.

[Touch-packages] [Bug 1764779] Re: Nautilus crashed open Windows-partition

2018-08-30 Thread Łukasz Zemczak
Hello Lukas, or anyone else affected,

Accepted glib2.0 into bionic-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/2.56.2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 in
a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation on how
to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this
update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from
verification-needed-bionic to verification-done-bionic. If it does not
fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the
tag to verification-failed-bionic. In either case, without details of
your testing we will not be able to proceed.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!

** Changed in: glib2.0 (Ubuntu Bionic)
