Yes have been testing on cosmic.
they are both on gnome3-team/gnome3-staging ppa. Tracker is at 2.1.3
there, but has already my patch that was the only change in 2.1.4.

Hello! This should be fine since as you said, these are not installed by
default - but since they're in 'supported', let's make sure these aren't
broken. Could you provide some test-build logs on Ubuntu cosmic (either
local of on a PPA)? Did you tests these packages on a cosmic system
