The PPD you have now is completely different, it is not auto-generated based on a get-printer-attributes IPP request but it is a generic PPD which is part of the cups-filters package. How did you set up your printer under Disco? How did you set it up under Eoan? To add a bit of clarity, I can't *choose* to print in monochrome from and of the UI.
