Here is the wpa supplicant log, gathered as per: https://gist.github.com/wch/8305204#gistcomment-2477237 https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/Nm7G6STc22/ Note there are 3 sections. The first section starts with "wpa_supplicant v2.6" When I upgrade to 2.9 you can see this start with "wpa_supplicant v2.9"

If we can find something in wpa's log (however one gets them) and an upstream fix for that, that would be great. If you can, I suggest you try to git bisect the upstream repository from 2.6 to 2.9 and see what commit breaks it. Please note that custom kernels are not supported, and we can't be
