Title:
Need to restart Network Manager frequently

Status in NetworkManager:
  Fix Released
Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
My WiFi connection keeps stopping to work every once in a while
(sometimes as often as every 10 minutes).

Restarting NetworkManager usually resolves this problem. But I am not
sure why that is the case. I do not think there is a connectivity
issue as it happens even when I am right next to the access point.

I have a standard Intel Wireless chip and use GNOME shell with some
  extensions. Nothing exotic.

Note this happened on eoan as well as focal (and maybe even before
  that).
