Re: [Touch-packages] [Bug 1878482] Re: EPSON WF 3520 driver problem - PpdFiles: Error

2020-05-14 Thread Galk32
Hello Till, thanks for your reply

The actual problem is that despite the fact that the printer is
automatically found correctly as an Espon wf 3520 it is not working,
neither the test page nor other documents.

I have then remove the printer and add a new one. Again the printer
(network one) had been found and when it tries to find a driver it opens
a menu Seiko-Epson driver, i choose yes and apply and then in the end it
gives me an error, I'll attach a print screen.

The driver which the system is using  grabs from epson  is the
"epson-201212w"

i have also tried the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems
with no result.

That's why i made a bug report.

Thank you

George Anastasakos

What is the actual problem here? Is the printer model not found during
setup? Are you not able to print?

Could you follow the instructions on

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems

Thanks.
