Hi,
When i run the command and saved the file it show something not supported
or not available. I have attached the screenshot.
when i plug the microphone in the desktop and go to pavucontrol i see the
microphone connected but it does not work and it plays the sound in the
desktop speaker. after,

edit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
add a new line "options snd-hda-intel model=alc221-hp-mic" at the end of this
file
save the file
reboot and test

plugged.
Let us see if there is that pop-up dialogue first.
