Install dconf-tools. Open dconf-editor. Go to /desktop/unity/launcher. Click on the string, then click on the button 'Set to default'. String changes to default values. Logout-in, go to the string again, custom values are displayed again. Custom apps in launcher still exist too. Expected: 'Set to default' should display default values immediately after change in launcher and survive the change througout logout.
