In the last two images for mako (171 172) it is not working properly.
Either I can't pull the menu down more than 10-15 mm or
I expect the exception comes out of the bowels of the glib ini parser.
There is probably little that the scopes API can do, other than to maybe
throw a separate exception for the parsing failure. But the shell should
not try and initialize the run time without catching the exception and
handling

Looked into the code, it appears that when they were porting the NM
backend to qt5, they never hooked up anything to the StateChanged

Long-tapping doesn't work on any
Checking the current changes added to the upstream bug I have doubts
that those actually fix the issue we have. The fix smells like it only
configures the threshold the flick should start, but doesn't configure
the velocity at all.

Daniel, this is not really a new issue. I saw that from the first day I
booted Krillin. However, it does recover itself quite easily which is
why it gets mostly unnoticed.
