won't keep on trying to reconnect with a wrong password.
But we should keep on retrying, if the fault was a connection fault only, but

Sometimes I experience this issue even at home with only one access point.
I use a hidden SSID.
The issue occurs sometimes when signal is weak.
As result the network is unusable (Ping fails), but seems to be connected
according to the network manager display.
Sometimes I also get a Password prompt
For the record, releasing this is blocked by getting the fix into zesty.

in memory before (1) writing it to the disk and the write includes
unused regions and (2) we are hashing the entire thing before writing
it, including the uninitialised bytes. So that means while we do have a

@monte, I get the impression that you may suffer from more than one bug.
I have none of the symptoms you describe. I believe that this bug
report must remain focused on the resume issue. Any other issue should
be in another bug report (maybe already existing?).

@JaSauders I think the downside is that restarting NetworkManager, on a
system that doesn't have any problem with network connections after a
suspend event (and that surely must be most systems, or this would be
fixed already) will result in a much slower reconnection to the network.
