It would be very handy if we could combine multiple devices into one
speaker configuration. For example if I could use my Bluetooth sound bar
as rear left and right channels together with laptop's built in speakers
as front left and right unto a 4.0 speaker configuration
It could be that /etc/init/keep-display-on-during-boot.conf needs to be
ported to the systemd services. Not quite sure I understand enough about
the v+o to x+o (and upstart to systemd) to quickly diagnose if the
startup power situation is correct at time of error during bootup.

It affects Ubuntu-MATE 16.04.1, both 32 and 64bit but it seems to be

Thanks pat-mcgowan, I attach the two files. "syslog" I truncated to the
last lines. I started playing music in youtube to see if any message is
logged, before that I took a quick look and I think there were only the
usual messages related to starting device and such.
I checked and the device does
