Not only Firefox, also Chrome and Opera are x-scheme-handler/ftp
handlers.
IMHO this is a Nautilus bug, because it DOES SHOW *open with Text
Editor* on a txt file, and it DOES NOT do that.
But it DOES work when you select *Open with other application* and then
select *Text Editor*.
