On first boot, I double check by run 'prime-select query'. It return

(specifically, with +LOWER_UP interface flag) and begins setting its

This is simple to reproduce and I experienced this also on 19.10.
First, make sure you have enabled "double-click on top bar of window to
minimize" feature, I'm using that because its easy and fast for me to

I am facing the same issue with Intel HD Graphics 520 [Skylake GT2].
On switching to Ubuntu Wayland, the artifacts are gone.

Closing issue. Reinstalling and re-configuring X made this go away.

IMO the real root cause, is tasks including packages transitively (why is
that?):
https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/germinate-output/ubuntu.focal/minimal
Starting with groovy I would prefer fixing that and landing a minimal
change to fix focal upgrades.

What is the state of this in focal/groovy? Since I see it as 'In
Progress' in focal. From what I see it has been merged in 245.5, right?
Focal/groovy seem to be on 245.4. Could we get this fix released to both
of those series?
