This feature (systemd part) will not be integrated in 21.10 (see comment #6
and#7), therefore moving to U22.04.
Canonical will add a release note to reflect changes and limitations due to the
fact, that only the kernel part
Here in 2021, this bug still haunts us in 18.04

Can't log in every
inclusion of the package on the iso is one thing; it is a different
thing to build the boot initrd with microcode included. I do not believe
that d-i base installation media ever create d-i initrd with microcode
included. Thus even if package is included on the ISO it will not be
