This can be resolved by removing the xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
package. I don't know if it was installed previous to installing Ubuntu
22.04, but both it and libinput were installed afterwards. Here is the

I've the same issue. It started to happen when I installed Ubuntu 22.04
I did a clean install not an upgrade. Everytime a file picker dialog opens it
freezes the browser to any inputs. I gotta close the browser and start it again
to get back working, btw I use brave.

This issue persisted two reboots and was immediately disappeared after
upgrading gdm3 and switching to Wayland. So it only happens when using
