My elderly parents are on Ubuntu 16.04, with updates set to 'Download and install automatically'. I must manually prune the Kernel images every so often, or the system's underwear gets all in a twist, and "apt-get autoremove' won't even work. Let's be clear: THIS IS NOT FIXED as of 16.04 LTS.
