Title:
[AV200 - Xonar DX] Playback problem - Volume control is very laggy

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When i change volume the audio stops and takes 5+ seconds to come back.
  Indicator-sound crashes because of it.

I get a message about "waiting for sound system" but sometimes
  eventually the volume changes.

It feels as if there is no DMA with the sound card. Hope you
  understand what i mean.

Tryed the snapshots on the audio ppa: didn't fix
