When typing the response seems a little slow, and frequently the system gets
the key presses the wrong way around. For example, you may type 'on', but it is

Bug 1576953 I have latest BIOS for Optiplex 7010 which is A29. This does
not help. Furthermore, looking at bug 1576953 I can clearly see a

On every power on I have no wired Ethernet connection or even an icon to enable
it. After a restart (soft boot) it comes back again. This appears to be
different from another bug reported which states that the Ethernet cable has to

OK I see now. I mistook Ubuntu 19.04 as the next LTS after 18.04. So my choices
will be:
1. Clean install of 18.04LTS
2. Upgrade to 19.10
3. Upgrade to 20.04 daily (after upgrade to 19.10)

I replaced Ubuntu 19.04 with 18.04 LTS. The problem is still the same.
1. Power up computer
2. Ethernet icon does not show. "Wired..." does not show. No network access.
3. Restart computer (soft boot).
4. Ethernet icon returns as well as Internet access.

This file was generated just after a power-on boot. This is the
condition where the ethernet icon is missing. I had to save the data to
file since in this condition I have no Internet access.
apport-cli -f -p network-manager --save 1860806.apport

On a clean power on boot I ran:
apport-cli -f -p network-manager --save 1860806.apport
So this file contains (hopefully) the information needed while the
machine is in the broken condition (only on fresh power-on).
After restart (soft boot) to obtain Internet I ran:

let me know how I can run this command and send the data after I have
done the restart. Remember, after restart the problem goes away. I can't
