system-settings does an update check to show available updates, and
entering the updates page starts another check. It seems if I

available, and you get prompted to install it (after it's downloaded)

/android/cache/recovery/.

I don't think this is really a different issue. I can't reproduce it on
krillin with the fixes for the bug 1373462 in place. The copy failures
in the log could be misleading, if the copy really failed you shouldn't
