As you're no doubt aware, using a PPA is at the moment the only way to
use GNOME 40 without compiling it from scratch or switching to another
distro. However the PPA does not ship GTK3, only GTK4 - hence this is a
bug in an Ubuntu package.
Since this bug occurs in Ubuntu's packaged version of GTK3

I don't think it is Evince-specific either, but that was the only app
that I encountered having the issue. It's definitely not X related
however since this is Wayland-specific. The "wayland-0" socket naming
convention seems to come from libwayland-server, so maybe that's a
reasonable package to pro

suspend DNS resolution stops working.
After resuming, systemd-resolved is running and libnss-resolve is
installed, but /etc/resolv.conf contains 127.0.1.1 as the the only name

Well I'm posting this from the computer with the problem, so yes I'm
online. :)
To fix the problem I need to manually edit /etc/resolv.conf and replace
dnsmasq's 127.0.0.1 with resolve's 127.0.0.53 (or any other reachable
name server).

It looks like it, yes. As I (obliquely) mentioned in comment 3, dnsmasq
seems to stop responding to UDP req
you think it's an upstream problem?
As I mentioned, it works fine for apps run via Flatpak on the same
computer, so this very much sounds like an Ubuntu/Debian specific issue.

Some data points about this:
- Name resolution always works fine after first boot
- When name resolution is failing, dnsmasq seems to have stop accepting
connections on UDP on 120.0.1.1 (TCP seems to work fine)
- I can reproduce the issue connecting to wifi at work - WPA2 enterprise wifi
network

Libgee uses several [Deprecated] code attribute, however Vala 0.31.1
deprecated it and replaced it with [Version (deprecated = true)].
This means that code cannot be compiled against Libgee using valac >=
0.31.1 unless --enable-deprecated is passed to valac, which is
