[Touch-packages] [Bug 1716741] Re: [artful] After killing Google Chrome, X.org crashes
Oded Arbel, closing as per https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1716741/comments/38 given this is no longer reproducible. ** Description changed: Sometimes (quite often recently) Google Chrome gets stuck on my computer - its not responding at all and when resizing the window there is no repaint. If I then kill the process (it seems to happen both for TERM and KILL), the Google Chrome windows close and everything seems to work for a some short time (less than a minute) and then I get kicked out of the session. [Touch-packages] [Bug 1716741] Re: [artful] After killing Google Chrome, X.org crashes
I have ran the tool a few times because it seemed to be crashing - at first it wouldn't run at all complaining about missing PyQT, so I installed python-qt-binding; then it seemed to be crashing due to missing pathlib, so I installed that as well and ran it again. Regarding the original problem, I have to say that in the last few months Chrome has been relatively stable and I hadn't needed to call it, so I didn't encounter that specific problem for a while now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1716741 Title: [artful] After killing Google Chrome, X.org crashes Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Sometimes (quite often recently) Google Chrome gets stuck on my computer - its not responding at all and when resizing the window there is no repaint.
