was closed, but if I understood it correctly, only for 18.04. Is this
still an issue for 16.04, and does the patch from comment #5 help there?

X Server crashes dur
Also I found the previous patch works only when qemu-guest-agent in not
added to the VM, otherwise crash happens all the times while to login.
It show window which informs that ksmserver is crashed and if to click
"okay", it quits to sddm login screen.
** Also affects: qemu (Ubuntu)
