[Touch-packages] [Bug 1728596] Re: APT killed the OS load
I don't see how boot failure or system crash is a bug in apt. That could be everything from faulty drivers to faulty electronics. ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728596 Title: APT killed the OS load Status in apt package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: after trying to update the system, the computer crashed, after which it refused to boot. The download was made with the previous version of the kernel - 4.10.0-28-generic (x86_64). at startup, the computer began to ask for a password to replace the second disk, after entering the user's password for the current OS, the download continues. For this drive in another installation of this OS, I entered a different password. Enter the password does not match the password of the current user (root) did not try. When you reboot, the password request for the disk is missing. However, in working with this version of the OS, this is periodically observed for my computer. The system is freshly installed. Re: [Touch-packages] [Bug 1728596] Re: APT killed the OS load
sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade In previous installations I tried through the software center Ubuntu, same result. I suspect that the problem is in incorrect installation of the previous package, but without it I won't have Internet. 2017-10-30 21:33 GMT+05:00 Julian Andres Klode <1728...@bugs.launchpad.net>: > How did you try to update your system?
