Bug description:
  Xfce Panel Switch was the only application I had open.  If by chance it's not 
in the attached datadumps, I'm trying the 20180410 xubuntu bionic daily build.
  Update: this also occurred after installation failed.  These problems may be 
due to the usb drive, made with Rufus on Win 7.  I haven't had so many problems 
using linux-made drives.
