Public bug reported: Volume increasing or decreasing doesn't work. I can only toggle sound on (= 100%) and off (= 0%).
What I found out is that the Master channel seems to have no effect for volume adjustments, but the PCM channel does. If the sound is muted, PCM is set to 0 and therefore the sound is toggled off, but when I increase the sound a bit, PCM jumps straight to 100, causing the speakers to be very load. I have attached alsa-info output.
