These seem reasonable, particularly if there's later HWE updates to be

Accepted modemmanager into kinetic-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/modemmanager/1.20.0-1~ubuntu22.10.1
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
