I have a coax cable plugged into a Naim Supernait (1) built-in DAC. I
did try optical and tbh for CD media I couldn't tell the difference so I
stuck with coax as I needed the optical inputs for other sources.
The only reason I upgraded my coax cable was because the old one was a
video cable from
