Well, a long as you provide no details about your settings and your
environment, there's pretty no matter to help you finding the issue:
"It works for us" ;-)

Please copy the relevant section of your trac.ini file (namely, the
[notification] section) and provide details about your SMTP server:
whether you use authentication or not, for example.

See also the mail archive (couple of days/weeks ago) about telnet'ing
the SMTP server to verify it works as expected.
