Hello,
After upgrading from GNU Emacs 28.2 to GNU Emacs 29.1 (Debian packages) I
noticed a regression when I try to open a file on a remote host where my
user has write access through its group : it's opened in read-only mode.
The command I used :
emacs -nw -Q --eval "(setq tramp-verbose 7)"
After tinkering with this, I can confirm the initial bug, which affects me
much like it does Gael. My user is a member of groups, one of which has a
hyphen in it.
/bin/id:
uid=1001(viking)
gid=1001(viking)
