I have just received the requirements for a new project which is a cf7 application running on a machine that is almost 10 yrs old with only 2MB of memory. we believe at most there could be at any given time 1000 different users logged into the app performing basic CRUD operations against about 10 different sql server tables including searching for list results. I was thinking of using Transfer /Coldspring and Fusebox 5.5 for this but many on the team worry about performance issues of Transfer and the object creation overhead that comes with that old of a CF version.
can anyone offer any thoughts to help in making this decision? Is transfer up to the task on such low i have heard that i can update to the latest version of the JRE and point cf to that which help greatly with the object creation issues. is that true? thanks -- Before posting questions to the group please read: http://groups.google.com/group/transfer-dev/web/how-to-ask-support-questions-on-transfer Try out the new Transfer ORM Custom Google Search: http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=002375903941309441958:2s7wbd5ocb8 You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "transfer-dev" group.
