I reckon the problem of my case is about frequency of communication
between the server and client, not about the size of data. So even if
you use AJAX to reduce the size of data, there is no difference of the
number of communication.
This means the longest part is when client sends data and waits for
response of the server. So if I could do through all messages on the
page and sent them to server at once, it would take pretty much short
time. I remember Launchpad of Ubuntu localisation works like that.

I don't know which one is better technically.
Anyway I'm looking forward to AJAX feature and we could discuss about
this later.

You are correct. The improvement I'm referring to is in the upcoming
version, in other words, the version that we are still developing and
hope to release in future.

It shouldn't make any different to a team if someone on the team is
working offline from time to time. It might be useful to upload more
frequently, but the same translations should end up online.
