Re: [Trisquel-devel] New mirror in Sweden

2019-02-01 Thread Jonathan Sélea
Hi!

Thanks for you answer, I can see that mirmon shows my mirror as green
which is nice :)
Let me know if I can help you, I do have some experience with hosting
and server maintenance.

Re: [Trisquel-devel] New mirror in Sweden

2019-01-26 Thread David Rodriguez

Hello, sorry again for the delayed answer.

I've been updating several mirror resources, including the ISO download
pages ( https://trisquel.info/en/download ), the "Mirroring Trisquel"
wiki page ( https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/mirroring-trisquel ) and the
mirmon ( https://trisquel.info/mirmon/index.html ) service
configuration. They all show now your mirror and some others that have
been contributed recently and some obsolete ones have been removed.

I'll be working on a couple more resources that should be updated with
the current mirror list.

Thanks a lot for your contribution and for your patience and sorry again
for taking so much time to perform these changes. I will work towards
making these updates much speedier in the future.

Best regards,

David R.

Hi, Jonathan, sorry for the long delayed reply and thanks a lot for

We're reviewing the current state of our mirrors and updating all

I'll

be adding the mirror you're very generously providing to the relevant
lists so people can start using it as soon as possible.

Thanks again and sorry again for the lack of a previous response, it's
not a good excuse at all but I have to confess that I combined in my
mind your mirror offer with another one which arrived in a similar
timeframe and replied only to the other one.

Hi,
Please excuse me if this is the wrong mailing list, but I did not find
any other place, the contact form on your webpage does not seems to be
monitored.

I am running a mirror in Sweden for Trisquel, I have done it for the
past 6 month without any issue. We already mirror other GNU+Linux
distrobutions and the mirror is an official mirror for many of thoose.

Some information about the mirror:

Name: LinuxPizza
HTTP|HTTPS: mirror.linux.pizza/trisquel/packages/ (archive),
mirror.lin

ux.pizza/trisquel/images/ (images).
RSYNC: rsync://rsync.linux.pizza/mirror/trisquel/packages/ (archive),
rsync://rsync.linux.pizza/mirror/trisquel/images/ (images).
Location: Southern Sweden
Speed: 1Gbit
Contact: Jonathan Sélea ([email protected]) & Joakim Svensson
([email protected])
Sync Rate: Every fourth hour
Thanks to: Operationtulip.com

I wish that the mirror is added to the official mirror list.
