Hi!
From yesterday randomly the filesystem of my Trisquel installation becomes
read-only until a new reboot. I want to fix that... I really need your help,
but I can give some informations (perhaps useful):
1)I recently changed size at the partition, creating another one with 50 GB

What exactly does the error message say?

The whole climate change story, due to human behaviour (I later learned)
it's a huge hoax.

fsck is your friend.
I solved my issue. The Add/Remove function includes Boinc and actually
works.
Why the Package Manager version fails, I have no idea. It works with other
OSs.
Three points:
1. The MPEG Layer 3 encoders and decoders used in Trisquel are free
software (at least from a copyright perspective).
2. There may be patent issues in the United States potentially up to the
year 2017* but not in other countries anymore. That's just because the
US has absurd patent

Try to remove/change some mount options (from the Live USB). I would start
with removing those:
dmask=000,fmask=111,nls=utf8
You can test with:
$ mount /media/MoYan
You're not a reputable source. :/
Just to clarify for those who skim through the thread without clicking on the

In an ideal world, Apple and Microsoft would support Vorbis and Opus natively
in their browsers for audio, but they don't. It sucks because there are a
huge percentage of users that use their browsers on the desktop and on
mobile/tablet devices. At least Android supports Ogg and WebM
I was looking for a lightweight tool to write Trisquel ISOs to a USB stick
and came across mintstick. Have any of you tried this yet? You can grab it
for Trisquel 6 from http://packages.linuxmint.com/pool/backport/m/mintstick/
(don't worry, its GPLv2) and it lets you write .iso and .img
Since I can't edit my orignial post, I meant to point out that there's also
source code through the GitHub page:

There is a lot of stuff in here I strongly object to, and since you're
putting this out here as if it were fact, I will comment to say that research
is a skill: it can be improved. Specifically, many people struggle with
source hierarchy and distinguishing between credible and non-credible
I'm not wasting time on this so here

None of our people said this. Mr. Assange spoke about vulnerability of OS's

If Manual Solution gives you a shell, does this work?
Can't you
$ chmod -R +w /mount/point
But i bet there's something wrong with your fstab line as it appears to be
complaining that it cannot mount something.
Is there supposed to be a comma between 'ntfs' and 'auto' ?
