I have this problem. I always use udisk2 but now, i didn't find this command.
Did you try "sync"?

from Abrowser ... which I did not request ...
I'm inclined to delete it.

Hi, I downloaded Trisquel Mini 8 image and created bootable USB of it. I
wanted to install the OS to my mini laptop which has 4GB HDD. I read that
Mini version requires 3GB but installer sais 4.7GB is needed. Do I need to
perform web installation and select only minimal core or something
I tried updating grub but its not working.
When I check grub.cfg I noticed that he is pointing to the wrong disk
(hd2,msdos1)
I tried to manually replace hd2 to hd1 but still not working.
here is the fdisk command (I have only 1 bootable disk (sdc)):

models.
Funny enough, AMD is more cooperative than Nvidia when it comes to developing
the free software drivers, but they make them highly dependent on non-free
firmware.
