Does it exist in Ubuntu? Seems not. Not all GNU/Linux distros can possibly package every single program that might exist or that might ever be wanted by someone somewhere. Feel free to help package it up.

I tried to install kregexpeditor from the repos, but apt-get couldn't find it. It's not proprietary, is it?

Thanks. What does "-kccy" do? On a related note, is it hard to make a bootable pen drive that has a writable (persistent) partition? I found this: https://theartofmachinery.com/2016/04/21/partitioned_live_usb.html and it worked for a "systemrescuecd" iso but Trisquel mini didn't
