First of all: backup the user data!

Thanks. The password was correct. It has been rejected. Icedove seems very
unsafe. I will use some other client.

Security -> Passwords -> Saved Passwords... -> Show Passwords -> Yes.
Same problem here on Trisquel8 and x60s. But there is a concept what is
called priority or importance. Compared to other problems, I don't give a
damn such a problem, though.

The only packages that I backport from Ubuntu Studio are
ubuntustudio-controls and ubuntustudio-menu. I backport these from the
Ubuntu Studio PPA, not from Ubuntu's repositories, so our versions
of these two packages
It has been occurring maybe since a month or two months ago. I use Posteo
account and Disroot account on Icedove. I can receive emails from both
accounts by Icedove (so I was neglecting the problem). I can send a new
message of Disroot by Icedove. But I cannot send a new message with Posteo
Ubuntu Studio 19.10 has been released. Maybe backport some of these changes?
I'd love to help with backporting, I just don't have the skills yet.

Well, as said earlier: in theory I would prefer Abiword because I love its
much less cluttered user interface but if it isn't working properly for me I
might stick with Libre Office Writer for the time being. I don't use
