There are VGA to HDMI adapters. The usually also come with an audio plug so
that the audio & video then get combined into the HDMI signal with the
adapter (since HDMI bundles audio and video) and then shipped out through the
adapter.

My laptop is a Librebooted T400. It doesn't have HDMI, only VGA, which is
what I use. But I was hoping to get a "no cables" solution.

So, I know smartphones can use Wifi and connect to a HDMI adapter that sends
the image to a TV screen wirelessly.
Does Trisquel work with some of those devices, meaning, only Free Software
solutions? Also, is the stream somehow encrypted or can the wireless router
"see" what I seeing i
