also if you want privacy i would advise against Google searches
Under the menu, "New Private Window".
Please tell me how to enter private browsing mode in GNU IceCat. I
already did a Google search to no avail.
GNU
https://www.gnu.org/gnu/gnu-linux-faq.html
Operating system: GNU
Kernel: Linux
Distro: Trisquel GNU/Linux
US pronunciation: Triss-cull guh-noo slash linnucks
Spanish pronunciation: /tri:skel nju: kon li:nuks/
Unrelated, but: I like your "SPUTNIK" avatar.
You don't need to- the Tor Project have already done the heavy lifting.
Tor Browser is a modified Firefox preconfigured to work with Tor. You
can get it here: https://www.torproject.org/download/download
I'd suggest you forego IceCat's Tor support and use the Tor Browser Bundle
instead (just extract the appropriate GNU/Linux binary somewhere in your home
directory).
sudo apt-get install xul-ext-torproxy
Hello,
I am new to Trisquel linux. How do I turn on and use the Tor network
and browse with IceCat using it?
Thank you
