I believe you need 3D acceleration in the VM to do so.

I am trying to install Gnome shell in Trisquel 6. The problem is

Trisquel has some agreement with DuckDuckGo, but I don't remember what
exactly it entails. The main difference between my config and the DDG one is
that I have the Trisquel referrer (like what you have in Abrowser) in the
URL. This might be useful to Trisquel if there is some financial gain.

At the Login manager look for GNOME in the DE menu.
There is no Gnome on the list (only gnome classic that bring me to the normal
Trisquel DE).

This may sound like a stupid question, but how to install Gnome-Shell on a
fresh Trisquel installation ? I mean, I can install whatever DE I want
(unity, unity-2d, gnome-shell), it is always the same, they don't appear on
the list at all.
How can I solve this problem ?
