La Quadrature du Net! Merci beaucoup!

Google changed something about their website so now Disconnect does not work,
only with Bing and DuckDuckGo, and Bing is absolutely terrible. The Tor
browser has changed to use DDG by default, through the DDG hidden service.
Tor suggests: https://search.disconnect.me
I've read their privacy policy which stills seems not secure, because it
stores data:
Nothing in this policy contradicts the following statements:
We don’t collect any of your personal info, including your IP address,
other than information

Wow, haven't tried it for awhile. That interface looks cleaner to me now.
Thanks.
www.ixquick.com
Right now my main one is searx.me
A few weeks ago I 'overheard' SuperTramp83 recommending it to somebody and I
decided to try it. Thanks SuperTramp83!
Sometimes I use DDG or ixquick/startpage
Thanks, I'll keep this in mind.
root: It's a metasearch engine. Different instances use different search
engines by default. You can set what search engines are to be used.
Is there anything else that allows you to sort all your results by date?
(Past year, Past month, Past week, Past 24 hours, etc). Like the way Google
does it (when it's not broken)? That's a very useful feature when you are
having to do research for a writing project at work.
I thought it was great at first but as I used it more I found it didn't give
as great search results as DuckDuckGo. Therefore I switched back to DDG. I
think it may just be my personal bias though.
Just my personal observations.
> Which is your favorite search engine and why?
Any instance of **searx** which server is not in the USA (or England). Why?
Because it is entirely free software, it delivers great search results, the
GUI is great.
I only use duckduckgo.com and startpage.com, how about you?
Also if you recommend a decentralized service I have a question: is it
possible that the authorities trace you because of the search of somebody
else, kind of what happens to those who own Tor relays?
